finished :)
It seems she took me an eternity...
How ever I have finally made her.
She is 38 cm tall, her hair is made from natural silk fiber, and her outfit is decorated with thousands of glass beads.
I have made her on a different armature than my previous dolls, so she can bent her arms and legs, and she can sit and stand in different positions.

Awards
I am so happy to receive these awards from a very creative artist Robin. The animals Robin makes are just incredibly realistic and absolutely adorable.
Thanks a lot Robin! I am sorry I won't fulfill all the requirements of these avatars (you know, Christmas time - so many things need to be done :) ), how ever if any of you do not know Robin's blog, here it is - you just have to visit it - so many nice creatures live there ;) http://needlefeltedart.blogspot.com/

Stranger in the rain
It was a rainy evening when me and my dog were going for a daily walk. On the way to the park we met a small kitten. Poor wet creature was just crying and looking at us. Usually cats are scared of my super curious dog, and they run away as fast as possible, but this one – didn’t move. On the contrary he came closer and made a “psssssssssssh” saud at my dog. We made couple of steps more and I saw the little one is following us… oh I just couldn’t leave it there alone. Poor lost kitty was so lonely and cold…
So now I have him on my lap sleeping and making prrrrrrr sound. Hopefully I will find someone who will want to adopt him, if not – well.... I will have to think how to take care of him till the end of his days.

Exhausted
Yes I know, I was not writing any news for a very long time. I am sorry about that; I always blame myself for this. It’s all because when I get to the computer in the evenings, I am able just to read blogs of all of you, but not to write anything by myself :-S
All these days since I’ve left my last message on blogger, I was working and working and working on one doll. Hundreds of micro-beads, sewing and cutting my fingers with supper thin needle for countless times, endless sketching and rethinking of the details has finally come to the end…. And I can’t show her yet :-S She will appear in virtual exhibition at first of December, and in my blog as well. Till that time I have to keep her in secret. :-(
And now I’m turning my thoughts to another girl, which is sitting on my table anxiously waiting to be dressed up :o)
my best regards to each and all of you

back to childhood...
Here it is, my new/old hobby: sewing clothes for playable dolls. Since I was a kid I was spending more time while making clothes for dolls than playing with them. Then I grew up, and I was to shy to continue with this pleasant occupation... well I had to find a "serious" profession for me and etc. ...And now, that I am 30, I've finally realized that people live just ones, and they have to live their life with a light and happy heart, doing what they love to do, being with people which they love to be with.
So here she is, my Blythe dolly and her new black dress :)

...oh I'd wish I'd had another camera, this one is old already, and it's just impossible to take good quality pictures with it :(...

working working working
yes yes, I know, I should post more often, but the times goes so fast that weeks are just passing by and I do not notise them... Most probably it is all becouse of so many things I am doing at this time. :)
I am finishing a doll for a virtual exibition in some russian doll-makers forum (can't show her right now - it is supposed to be a seecret :) ).
I have also started a new doll, her name is "Muse of the sleepless night". It is pretty veird how she appeared in my head... One night I just couldn't fall asleep. Turning from one side to another I was laying in a bed with my eyes opening by them self. (I have to say that it never happens to me, as I usualy fall asleep as soon as I put my head on a pillow). And then while staring at the sealing, this doll came to my mind. Such a clear image with all details - she was just ready to be made - I didn't even need any skeching.. And then I felt asleep. In the morning of the next day I woke up so good rested, I went to my studio and started sculpting her :)
I've got also some an idea of a new tipe of construction, I want her to be able to change positions whle benting arms and legs, but at the same time I do not want to make her body ball-jointed.
Annnnd... one more thing has pulled my attention last days and ocupyed all my free time. In the breackes between sculpting and painting, while waiting for my dolls to get dry, I am creating clothes for a Blythe doll. It is so much fun... I haven't been sewing for factory made dolls since I was small kid. I have rediscovered this ocupation right now and it is so intertaming for me, and also so relaxing: I am just waching videos on youtube and embroidering or beading those small cute dresses :) I hope to take pictures of them soon :)

work in progess
little by little the new doll is moving forward. I have made her face and I'm working on a body at the moment. Oh how I'd wish this modeling mass would dry faster :)
I have added ornaments to her face, to make i look like a mask. I will paint it in gold later, and meanwhile she looks like this:

Dream seller
In times when there was no TV, neither radio, when people didn’t know what a telephone is, Dream Sellers lived in the world. If you would ever want to see you beloved who is far far away, or to send regards to your old friend whom you haven’t seen for years, or you wanted just to spend a night in a magical garden without stepping out from your house – you could go to a Dream Seller and buy a dream, and then simple sleeping was turning into a marvelous adventure.
Selling dreams was not an easy profession, it required a lot of knowledge and wisdom, as dreams are not always good, and one has to know how to protect customers from nightmares.
One evening Dream Seller was returning home after a trip to a neighborhood town. The day was counting its last hours, and he turned thro the magic wood to shorten the way. He was in a hurry (no one would like to spend a night with creatures of the wood). The last drops of sunlight were playing between treetops and Dream Seller was walking without looking around, but suddenly, right in a middle of the path, he saw something shining. It appeared to be an egg. “Where is your mommy?” asked Dream Seller, the egg remained silent of course. Mommy wasn’t around, the night was falling unavoidably. “It is not safe for you here” told Dream Seller to an egg, and picked it up. The egg was warm and smooth – very nice to touch. Some creature was moving inside…
Dream Seller eached his home right before the first star appeared in the sky. He made fire, boiled some tea then brought a soft pillow from his bed and put an egg on it close to a fire place to keep it warm. “Be my guest” he said smiling at egg and drinking smelly tea. “Crack Crack” said the egg… or wasn’t it what it said…? Dream Seller looked at it with a big interest (hopefully you are not the dragon’s egg). Next minute a bright shiny birdie was looking at him thro a big hole in an egg-shell.
“Oh, dear! A phoenix!” It was a small baby phoenix. He looked at Dream Seller curiously happily and said “Mommy!”
Many days passed since that evening. Baby phoenix appeared to be a very smart creature, also very playful. Once he escaped from the house while his owner was in a business trip, and burned three houses (by accident of course). It took two days to rebuilt everything with help of people and of magic, and more than a year had to pass so people stop blaming poor Dream Seller for his carelessness. How ever since that accident he made a cage from unburnable wood and was carrying the small phoenix with him where ever he was going…

MASK - work in progress
like 10 years ago I have made a painting with this misterious charcter. I was not completely sutisfied with it and it was spending it's time somwhere in a darkest coner of my parent's house.
But recently I remebered it. And I've realized, that it is a perfect idea for a doll.
I have resceched it, and this is how it shuold look like.
...yayx! I can't wait to bring it to live :) ...

Inspiration
I have discovered for myself a wonderfull painter. His art is like a print of memories, or of dreams. You look at it and you feel like you have seen it already. The colours and textures are giving an impression of passing time, of a moment which is scaping from your fingers no matter how hard you are trying to hold it.

Mist Muse
Finally!.. I am so happy - my "Mist Muse" is finished.
I've been carrying the idea in my head like for 2 months and it took me like 3 more weeks to complete her. After endless visits to cloth stores searching for the matterial of a right colour for her dress, after scoulpting and sanding, paintin and sanding and painting and sanding again, and finishing with oil paint, after making her hair from a sheep woll and attaching eyelashes, suing dress and decorating it with embroidery and beads - she is complete. I've enjoied each part of the process and I love the result.
While waiting for glue or paint to get drye, I was working on two joifull Muse's pets.
Those two jumpy creatures are moving so fast that they dissapear in the mist befor any eye could see them. How ever they love theyr Muse and they follow her where ever she goes. :)
