Exhausted and happy

We had a long weekend in Lithuania this week, but even when most people were not going to work and celebrating the Independence Day, it was a very busy time for me. I was giving a course of doll making. If to be precise – we were making cats.
I never thought that teaching can be so much fun! I think, at the end our dolls had fun too :D

    Cats are very beautiful! So funny and interesting to see them naked. What's the technology to do head of cat? Do you sew it with pattern or may be stick in to the shape? Is it not secret tell it-it's very very interesting! Thank you. Oksana.

    Thank you Oksana! Actually the technology is very simple - I sculpt the head from any clay and glue artificial fur to it. Then it's just work with scissors to give it the final shape.

    Happy Independence :-)! Your kitties are wonderful! I love their expressions. Your photo of them together is amazing. I like the way they are grouped. It really brings out their personalities to see them together that way.

    Thank you very much, Dorote! It's very interesting. I would try to do something. before I only had sewed toys and now very interesting to sculpuring. And it's beautifull when possible mix fur had with static body. Do you speak russian? :-)

    hmm... that can be difficult as there is actualy nothing to take pictures of :-/
    You should try it - you will see yourself that it is nothing complicated ;)
